Sailing the dutch canals

Today we too a tour of the local dutch canals in an electric "whisper boat". It was a 3 hour tour, but we made it back and were not stranded like Gilligan. We had a picnic lunch, complete with white wine, quiche and fresh fruit salad.

As we sailed through the narrow dutch canals, we went under some bridges with only a few inches of head room. Rob and Tomas at over 6 feet tall each had to duck quite often.

Sailor Leah was all decked out in a life vest and sun cap to enjoy the cruise. Leah and Quinten enjoyed crawling and playing in the boat while 6 month old Stine slept in the fore of the boat.

I even took a turn steering the boat. I sailed us through some twisty canals and even a bridge! For the toughter parts, the experts Rob and Jan took over!
